This hotel was great. We had a 4 night stay there 16 - 20 Jan 2017 and loved every minute of it. The staff were terrific and could not do enough to ensure our stay was special. The hotel is literally around the corner from a Metro station - Parque on the blue line. Easy to reach by metro from the airport too red line airport to Sao Sebastio then a change to blue line and out at Parque. Opposite a beautiful park and walking distance of the city down Avenue Liberdad (like the Champs Elysee with expensive shops etc) Gentle walk down in to the city. The room was extremely clean and the bed very comfortable. White sheets. Great choice on the breakfast 7 - 10 am. Again great staff. One tip - if you want a twin room rather than a double may be worth calling the hotel to secure this. We wanted this and luckily Antonio did his very best to accommodate this request and gave us great rooms at the front. Ours were 205 and 201A. There is also a roof top gym with great views over the city. Sadly, one of our friends was ill but there is a private clinic right next door to this hotel and she was seen at once by a doctor for 85 Euros. The reception staff helped us with this problem. There is a great restaurant just a few doors down the road from the hotel - called Sapore. Popular with locals and great value. We ate there several times as it was so convenient. Great food & wine - fish, meat, pastas, pizzas etc. This all added to our enjoyment and pleasure at having chosen this hotel. Thank you to the staff, especially Antonio and Fatima.
